GDPR Statement

I adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on May 25th 2018. This means that any data that I hold, including my session notes and any contact information, will be stored securely. I take brief anonymous session notes, which are stored on a password-protected secure computer and remain separate from your personal details.

All data remains protected and confidential except in the event of possible harm to self or others or as required by current law. I would endeavour to inform you in advance if I were to break confidentiality for any reason. After work ends, I will delete all personal contact details; however, I am required to hold a copy of client notes for up to seven years for insurance purposes. You have the legal right to request these notes if needed.

If, for any reason, I become incapacitated and unable to work, I will share your contact details with my supervisor so they can contact you and make suitable arrangements.
